School of Paramedical Studies (SPACS College)

These terms and conditions govern all financial transactions for products and services provided by SPACS College. By applying or making a payment, individual agree to adhere to the policies outlined below.

1. Program Pricing and Structure

The prices listed on our website and student handbook represent the actual cost of school programmes in Jamaica dollars. Please note that “Main Programmes” (e.g., Phlebotomy Technician) have varying costs based on duration and certification level.

Example: Phlebotomy Technician Pricing

• 3-Month Certificate: $115,000
• 3-Month Diploma: $200,000
• 6-Month Diploma: $150,000

2. Admission and Registration

To begin the journey at SPACS College, candidates must follow the formal admission process:

• Registration Fee: A non-refundable JMD $3,000 fee is required. This covers the admission form and the entrance exam (if applicable).
• Documentation: Applications are only processed once a completely filled form is submitted alongside all required documents and proof of payment.
• Admission Validity: Upon receiving an admission notification, applicant must submit an acceptance letter. To keep the admission valid, 50% of the tuition fee must be paid at least one week prior to orientation. If this is not met, the admission offer expires 30 days after the notification date.

3. Tuition, Transfers and Deferrals

• Non-Transferability: Payments made for a specific student cannot be transferred to another individual.
• Deferral: A student may defer their admission only after paying 50% of the total tuition fee.
• Programme Transfers: Student may transfer tuition fees from one program to another within 30 days of payment or within the first two weeks of classes. Transfers requested after the two-week mark when core course classes have been completed will incur additional fees.
• Certification Eligibility: Payment of tuition does not guarantee a certificate. Certificates are awarded only to students who fulfill all academic and financial requirements as prescribed by the Academic Board.

4. Refund Policy

Different services at SPACS carry specific refund conditions. Please review these carefully:

SPACS Uniform	75 % refundable if requested before orientation day. Uniform must be return
Student ID and Badge	Non-refundable once printed.
1st 50% Tuition Payment	25% refundable up to 2 weeks after orientation; Non-refundable after core courses begin or completed.
100% Tuition Payment	Non-refundable after the completion of one semester.
Exam Fees (Main/Re-sit)	Non-refundable without proof of emergency submitted 24hrs prior. Missed exams require repayment.
Practical/Insurance Fees	Non-refundable and Non-transferable.

5. Additional Fee Schedule (JMD)

Beyond tuition, the following fees apply for specialized services and administrative needs:
