Radiology Technology (AAS-RDT)- Lunching in January 2027
Associate of Applied Science in Radiology Technology (AAS-RDT): Lunching in January 2027
Programme Overview
Step into the illuminating world of diagnostic medicine. The AAS in Radiology Technology trains students to become the visual diagnosticians of healthcare. Students will master the art and science of using advanced imaging equipment—such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs—to capture the internal structures of the human body, providing physicians with the crucial information needed for accurate diagnoses. This curriculum prepares graduates to work as entry-level Diagnostic Radiologic Technologists. Students will master radiographic exposure, radiation safety, patient positioning, and clinical workflows, qualifying them for regional and international licensing boards.
Importance and Benefits
- The Diagnostic Backbone: Medical imaging is vital to modern healthcare; without it, accurate diagnosis and treatment plans are nearly impossible.
- High-Demand Career: As technology evolves and populations’ age, the demand for skilled radiologic technologists continues to grow worldwide.
- The Perfect Blend: Ideal for individuals who enjoy cutting-edge technology and also want direct, compassionate patient interaction.
